metabolics
(click on the collage to read and see the pics better. yes grandma,im talking to you)
well monday was the annual trip to PCMC for their metabolic check-ups. they had their backpacks filled with books and snacks and were ready to go. the doctors and nutritionists are great and the boys love talking to the 7 plus people coming in and out. rohin is almost 37 lbs. and 40 in tall and murphy has lost weight (weird, i know) and is just under 22 lbs. im having a brain cramp and cant remember how tall murphy is at the moment, i'll call later. but i digress. everything went well for the most part and the boys are growing like weeds.
we went to the blood lab for draws and they had stuff to paint this time, the boys were very entertained. usually we have the hardest time with murphy because hes so small but strong and they have a hard time getting the blood they need. this time he did pretty well, there was a lady there with bubbles distracting him. when it was rohins turn he FREAKED. he threw off his shoes and was climbing the walls and screaming at the top of his lungs. they had to bring in an extra person and shut the door, i felt so bad for him. they eventually got what they needed and the boys got prizes. what a day! anyway, its always good to know the boys are within weight and the height they should be. until next february that is!

Poor Rohin, itsn't the worst watching them scared. But at least it all turned out well. Pat on the back to a good mom and dad.
So glad everything is going well. Question for you...how do you do these cool collages?
staci, go to picasa.com. so much fun!
Oh, poor Rohin. Aren't doctor's visits just the most fun! Good for you. You deserve a treat for taking them. Kids + Doctors = Mom's breakdown.
I have never taken Natalie in for bloodwork...that has to be so awful for parent and child. Love the collages too
we were probably there at the same time...we are there (every) monday. glad the boys checked out ok. xoxo
