halloween '09

ah halloween...
this year rohin decided that he wanted to be a ninja turtle and murphy should be a vampire.
we went down to my parents neighborhood the wednesday before for a little halloween "party" at their church for games, face painting etc. rohin took off and ran around the joint while murphy gladly changed costumes with my cousins son. murphy HATED his vampire cape. it didnt take long for him to change into a pirate~ they pumpkin bowled and went to the fish pond and had a good time for the most part. (ro screamed bloody murder and RAN just after going into the "spook alley")

 

 

when halloween rolled around murphy decided he wanted to rock one of rohins old costumes for trick-or-treating. it was GREAT weather. i really cant remember when the weather has been so good! we went up and down the block and scored some serious candy. john and lynette next door were cool enough to hook up the boys with a 5 lb. bag of gummy worms. the millers also grilled hotdogs and handed out balloons and candybars and had a great setup. we came home and the boys handed out candy to the rest of the trick-or-treaters, ro's favorite, until it was time to call it a nite. we had a great halloween!!(it also didnt hurt that the yankees were in a rain delay,in turn making it an easier decision for shane to come trick-or treating!)
