@*&%!+ diet records? check.

its that time again! yay. um, yeah i dont really mean that.
every six months for ro and three months for murph we go to primary childrens hospital for their metabolic appointments. we have to take a 3 day diet record for each boy.i hate those stupid diet records. have you ever tried to account for everything (including amounts) you kid eats and drinks? what a pain.
anyway we got to the hospital to see the barage of people that tend to show up each time. doctors, nurses, nutritionists, yada yada..we thought we were well stocked this time with books,crayons,games and a dvd player with movies (appts take a few hours) but it stil didnt entertain rohin. anyone suprised by that?
the boys did come in at 35 lbs and 21 lbs respectively and the doc's said they both looked great. next was the blood lab. we got there and turned in our paperwork waiting to be called and i immediately wanted to punch someone. why in the hell would they put a volunteer in the blood lab singing disney princess songs?! why god?! we already hate being there, didnt think it could really get worse.there are no words people.
usually i try to hang out in the waiting room with one kid while shane takes them back for the blood draw because i have a really hard time with it. this time rohin wanted me to hold him and i should have said no. hes usually pretty good about it but freaked this time. they collapsed one side and had to trade arms; it was ugly.
all in all i just want to say the boys are doing great (aside from murphys cold and rohins stubborn will) and are growing right on track! heres to another good 6 months!
